Website Primer for Business

If you are about to launch or have recently launched your business’s web presence this 3 hour class is has been created to help you steer clear of common design pitfalls and misconceptions in internet marketing regarding your website.

The first half of this class is based on my classic “The Top Ten Website Mistakes Businesses Make” book and we’ll look at each of these mistakes using “real life” examples.  We’ll dispel the concept of “Build It and They Will Come” and tackle the “You Get What You Pay For” challenge.

The second half of this class is based on my “Top Ten Strategies for an Effective Website” book and we’ll examine each of these elements and how to apply them to your website.  We’ll start with some basic design concepts such as site flow and usability and we’ll look at getting your website in front of your customers.
